Winding your way through Miami International Airport can be tricky. It’s a massive structure, with crowds that can make it hard to find enough seats at your gate to keep your group together. When your flight arrives, having a basic understanding of the Airport layout will help you easily locate ground transportation where you and your companions can board your pre-booked Miami airport shuttle bus.

First of all, the airport has three terminals that are divided into six concourses, D through J. At each of these terminals is a ground-floor Arrivals-level pickup zone just outside of Baggage claim.
Once everyone in your group has retrieved their belongings at Baggage Claim, just exit to the outside Arrivals level. Your group will meet at the pre-arranged designated Arrivals level pickup zone. Just look for these doors at these terminals:
Note that the Departures level is only for dropping off passengers who are taking a flight out.
Contact your driver once your group has successfully gathered luggage and everyone has reached the agreed-upon pickup zone. Miami International Airport generally restricts charter bus loading and unloading to a maximum of 30 minutes, which is actually plenty of time for your professional airport shuttle bus driver to assist every passenger with seating and luggage storage.
Clear signage should easily direct you to your agreed-upon pickup area. Meanwhile, your charter bus driver may initially be parked at one of two exclusive bus waiting lots, both near the entrance to the airport campus:
Monitoring your flight in case of delays is part of the job, and assures your group is promptly met at the pickup point.

Catching your group’s departing flight is usually a simple matter. All departures are on the upper level, Level 2. Your charter bus driver will drop off passengers curbside at the terminal ticketing area for your particular airline. Your luggage is stowed in an organized manner in the bus undercarriage and/or overhead bins, and your driver will take the utmost care in handing everyone their belongings.
Keep in mind that MIA experiences quite a bit of traffic, so your driver will try to be especially efficient when unloading. But, there is no hurry on your part, because we will pre-arrange a pickup time from your hotel or other location to ensure you have plenty of time to scoot through security and to your airline gate on schedule.

It’s only about 7.5 miles from Miami International Airport to downtown Miami, and about five more miles across Biscayne Bay to Miami Beach. PortMiami is about 9 miles from Miami International Airport. Just be aware that traffic congestion can significantly slow traffic to a crawl. Construction delays are not uncommon, and during peak times, such as on weekends and seasonally, you can expect heavier traffic. Fortunately your driver adjusts pickup and dropoff times, and arranges this with you in advance to assure you get to your destination safely and reliably.

When your flight lands at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), you’ll deplane and go to the baggage claim area on the lower level of your terminal. This is also the Arrivals level. After everyone in your group collects all luggage, it is easy to locate signage for Ground Transportation or Baggage Claim Exit, where you will all head outdoors. There are three terminal pickup areas where curbside pickup is possible, so you should make sure everyone in your group knows which terminal is your meeting place.
? Terminal 1: GTA-1 at west end of terminal
? Terminal 2: GTA-2 between terminals 2 and 3
? Terminals 3 and 4

Just look for the curbside “Long-Haul Buses Zone” sign at Ground Transportation outside your terminal. Once situated there, contact your charter bus driver to let them know you are all together and ready to ride! Your charter bus will likely be waiting for your group’s arrival, typically parked at the lower level of the terminal roadway between Terminals 1 and 2. It shouldn’t take but a few minutes for the bus to arrive at your pre-designated pickup spot outside of Ground Transportation.
Whether traveling for business or pleasure, you will enjoy a stress-free trip on a clean, well-maintained minibus or larger charter bus, depending on your group size.

Miami is about 30 miles south of FLL, so chances are there will be heavy southbound traffic on either I-95 or the Florida Turnpike. Contributing to the potential for traffic congestion is the volume of cruise passengers heading to and from the Port of Miami. But that’s not a cause for concern when your group is riding above it all in a private, air-conditioned Miami charter bus rental. We make travel for South Florida conventions, weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, concerts, and sports events so simple! Your driver is familiar with all the intertwining streets and high-traffic intersections in this beautiful coastal region. Wherever your group is headed, we’re dedicated to getting you there safely and in perfect comfort.

If your flight involves a layover at Miami International Airport or FLL, your group should consider booking a charter bus for a day tour. It will help you pass the time in an enjoyable way. We’ll customize your trip to fit your personal preferences. From beautiful beach boardwalks to breweries, luxury shopping to succulent seafood restaurants, take your pick of wonderful destinations. Then we’ll take you back to your hotel for a restful sleep.
Although some cruise lines and hotels may offer free shuttles to and from FLL or Miami International Airport, their pickup and dropoff times may be on a set schedule, or require advance reservations. On the other hand, booking a spacious Miami airport shuttle bus lets your group travel on your personal schedule while thoroughly enjoying the ride.

If members of your group are arriving at different times on different airlines, allow extra time for everyone’s final arrival. The luggage carousels at both FLL and Miami International Airport are not always fast, so leave time for luggage retrieval. Also, if anyone in your group is on an international flight, it may take up to two hours to go through U.S. Customs and Immigration. At either airport, make sure everyone in your group meets at baggage claim at the correct terminal. Once everyone has retrieved their luggage, they should meet at the designated terminal curbside pickup point.
After your group has collected luggage and is ready to head outdoors to wait for your airport shuttle bus pickup, you will contact the driver by phone – call or text – to let them know you are ready.
Our professional drivers are familiar with South Florida’s network of roads and highways, and where to expect the most delays. They will adjust pickup and dropoff times accordingly, and coordinate this with you at booking. Our aim is to assure your group is picked up and arrives at your destination safely and on time. However, unforeseen delays can happen, especially during rush hour and peak times on weekends, and if so, your driver will contact you. In this case, it is best to have your group wait indoors rather than outside at your designated pickup spot where there is high foot traffic
It is generally suggested to arrive two hours before a domestic flight at either FLL or Miami International Airport, and three hours prior to an international flight. On weekends or holidays, to be on the safe side, arrive an extra hour earlier for your departure, as there may be longer lines at check in and through security.
